Winning Eleven
In 1996, after the success of International Superstar Soccer Deluxe, Konami decided to create another football title but not with the same people, so the work was given to Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo who created: World Soccer Winning Eleven, known as Goal Storm in Europe and North America).
The same began a saga completely unrelated to International Superstar Soccer, although several of the titles of the new franchise bear the same names as this one. The following year went on sale Winning Eleven 97 (called International Superstar Soccer Pro in Europe and Goal Storm 97 in North America.) The saga continued with Winning Eleven 3 and Winning Eleven 4 (called in the rest of the world as International Superstar Soccer Pro 98 and International Superstar Soccer Pro Evolution, respectively) In March 2001, before the fifth edition of Winning Eleven appeared, International Superstar Soccer Pro Evolution 2 went on sale, this being the second part of ISS Pro Evolution (in Japan, World Soccer Jikkyou Winning Eleven 2000: U-23 Medal Hay Chousen) and the last Winning Eleven known as ISS outside the Asian country, since in October of the same year was launched Winning Eleven 5 for PlayStation 2, which would be titled in Europe as Pro Evolution Soccer, initiating a new franchise that persists to date.It should be noted that Winning Eleven 2002 came out only in Japan and Europe for PlayStation, in the old continent This would be known as Pro Evolution Soccer 2 and that would be the last title in that system.
