Call Of Duty
Call of Duty is a series of first-person shooter video games (FPS), created by Ben Chichoski, developed primarily by Infinity Ward, and distributed by Activision.
The franchise began for personal computer and later it was expanding towards videoconsolas of sixth and seventh generation, both desktop and laptops, arriving thus, to launch several games derived gradually with the main series. The series was initially set in World War II, recounting characters and combats that occurred during the war. This was changing to the present, where the arguments happen in contemporary and fictitious environments, as can be seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops, in the Cold War, as seen in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in World War III, and Call of Duty technology futures: Black Ops 2, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Call of Duty : Infinite Warfare. The DLC are released earlier on the Xbox consoles from the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, until Black Ops 3 where it changed to PlayStation 4. The saga has enjoyed a great commercial and critical success which It has been increasing since its creation to the present. Call of Duty has achieved great profits in the video game industry, selling 55 million total copies of its games, raising more than 3 billion dollars, also creating other products of the franchise, including action figures, playing cards and a mini-series of comic books. Similarly, the series has been subject to criticism and controversy since its inception, to the present. By February 2016, the Call of Duty series had already sold 250 million copies and reached 15 billion US dollars in total sales, including in-game content.
