Infinity Ward is a videogame developer studio based in Los Angeles, California, formed by former employees of 2015, Inc., developers of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.
The studio was acquired by Activision in October 2003. In addition to being the founding studio of the Call of Duty series, it is also the video game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
